Its time to slow the effects of aging with water exercise designed for those 60 years “young” and older. While exercising with your friends, you can add life to your years and years to your life. Good swimming skills are not necessary to enjoy the refreshing qualities of the water. a certified lifeguard is on duty at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable time.
GCRC Lifeguard Training
Lifeguards maintain safe swimming conditions in and around the pool and create a positive atmosphere that promotes patron’s safety and engagement. Their presence allows us to offer life-changing programs in the areas of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. American Red Cross Lifeguard Training is ideal for people who want to work at traditional pools. The course teaches professionalism, patron and facility surveillance, victim recognition, equipment-based rescues, and caring for head, neck, and back injuries. Training and certification are through the American Red Cross.

Lap Swimming
Enjoy this popular and safe form of exercise under the close supervision of a certified lifeguard. The pool has kickboards, fins, and paddles available for your workouts.
Private Swim Parties
Throw a pool party this summer! There’s no cooler way to celebrate during the summer. Whether it’s a birthday, family reunion, or just a party, the entire pool will be at the disposal of you and your guests. Certified lifeguards supervise during all parties to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable time. Party times are only available on Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 7:00pm. Call the pool, (620)356-4233 ext.3, today to book your party; parties must be booked two weeks in advance. If the party is canceled due to weather or unforeseen events it may either be rebooked for the next available weekend or you can receive a credit for a future party. We must know at least two weeks in advance if you plan to cancel your party. Parties are $75/hour. Have only a small group and not require the whole pool?
We have a space available to rent for $30. Please call and inquire.
Pool Policies
- All visitors must pay the admission fee
- All swimmers are required to wear proper swimwear without grommets, zippers, jewelry, or any type of metal.
- A parent or a sibling (16 years of age or older) must accompany children under 7 and be responsible for the child at all times, this includes being in the pool with the child.
- A swim test is required to go off the diving board.
- Pool rules are posted and must be followed.
